This bag uses a fabric I embroidered as part of my Degree course. During a visit to The Holburne Museum in Bath, I was inspired by the Duke of Marlborough's cabinet - a very decorative, rich and dark wooden piece of furniture, inlayed with oak veneer marquetry flowers.
The fabric's decoration is made from a pale scan of my embroidery which was digitally printed onto organic cotton, which I then embroidered with red thread to give texture and definition.
It has white organza ruffles along with a white zip, and is professionally finished and lined with white fabric and overlocked edges.
